West Valley Leaders Endorse Mayor Jackie Meck

BUCKEYE – Several prominent West Valley leaders endorsed Buckeye Mayor Jackie Meck in his bid for re-election today.  Supervisor Clint Hickman, Mayor Cathy Carlat, and Mayor Mike LeVault threw their support behind Meck helping his campaign to continue to build momentum.  In their endorsements, they discussed Mayor Meck’s pro-business attitude, his commitment to open space, his fiscal responsibility and his commitment to regional issues.

In his endorsement, Maricopa County Supervisor Clint Hickman said, “With a business located in Buckeye, I can tell you first hand that Mayor Meck has a strong track record of supporting businesses and helping them to succeed.  As a life long resident, Jackie has strong relationships within the agricultural and farming community who helped make Buckeye what it is today.   We can count of Jackie Meck’s leadership to look to the future while embracing this town’s roots.  I am proud to give him my support.”

“I am proud to support Mayor Meck’s re-election.  He has been a champion for preserving open space and improving our quality of life,” said Peoria Mayor Cathy Carlat,  “His leadership and hard work on the White Tank Mountain Conservancy has improved our entire region and provided a great example for others to follow.  I commend him for all of his hard work to preserve our greatest natural resources for future generations.”

“I have worked closely with Mayor Meck on the Maricopa Association of Governments Executive Committee and on the Regional Council.  His experience and dedication to fiscal responsibility is well known across the region and is an asset to Buckeye and the entire West Valley.  Mayor Meck has a firm grasp on the big picture issues facing our state and our region and we are blessed to have his leadership,” said Mayor Michael LeVault of Youngtown.

Mayor Meck concluded, “I am very humbled to have the support of so many great leaders who have helped build a stronger West Valley and contributed to Buckeye’s success.  It has been an honor to work with these individuals on key regional issues to improve transportation, grow our economy, and support our long-term quality of life.  I am pleased to have them join the wide range of friends and neighbors throughout Buckeye who are supporting my campaign.”
