Mail Your Ballot Right Away! Dear Friends, One of the greatest rights we have as citizens of the United States is our ability to vote. On Tuesday, August 30th, the voters of Buckeye will vote for elected offices including Mayor and City Council. If you still have your ballot, the last recommended day to mail in your ballot is this Thursday. After Thursday, August 25th, it is recommended that you deliver your ballot to the Buckeye City Clerk or to your polling place on Election Day. If your ballot is received after the election, it will NOT count. If you have any questions, you can contact the City Clerk Lucinda Aja at 623-349-6911or you can contact the County Recorder at (602) 506-1511. Over 3,500 people have voted in Buckeye so far, but there are many people who still have ballots at home. Don’t forget to return your ballot by Thursday or vote in person on Election Day, Tuesday, August 30th. Sincerely, Mayor Jackie Meck |
